Hey All,

As you know I've always liked a challenge and recently my challenges have all been focused around cycling, with last year completing and Everesting in 17 Hours. If you haven't heard of that before, check out this link. This year I will be riding in the Le Velo event held at Darebin DISC, whereby I will ride a simulated course over 5 hours competing against teams and hopefully other solo riders like myself. The course ranges from some flats through the a mountain top finish I'm lead to believe. Although 5 hours doesn't sound like much, using Zwift and Wahoo trainers I will not be able to coast and will need to keep the pedals going all the time.

The event will be raising funds for type 1 diabetes research to make a different to the lives of 120,000 Australians and millions of people around the world living with T1D. The chosen charity is JDRF, JDRF is committed to achieving a world without T1D through research efforts to prevent, treat and cure. It would mean a lot to me if you could support my efforts my making a donation, sharing my page or commenting below.

If you have the ability to donate to this cause, it would be great and you can do so here

Here’s to turning Type One into Type None. Thank you for your support!
